Our saffron is grown naturally, without any chemical treatments, according to the principles of regenerative permaculture. Each flower is hand-picked in the early hours of the morning to preserve its freshness and aroma. The stigmas, once slowly dried, retain all their nutritional properties: saffron is among the plants with the highest natural antioxidant content, capable of counteracting cellular aging, supporting mood, boosting metabolism, and having anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving effects. Its flavor is rich, warm, and persistent, and pairs perfectly with risotto, pasta, white meat, fish, cheese, desserts, and infusions. For proper use, we recommend infusing the lightly crushed stigmas in a hot liquid for at least two hours before adding them to the dish.
